How to effectively intervene in workplace conflict

Research shows that managers can spend anywhere from 20% to 42% of their time on conflict-related issues, yet many managers lack the skills, knowledge or confidence to effectively intervene in a conflict situation.

A proactive approach to conflict resolution can significantly improve an organisation's conflict management capacity. This one day course looks holistically at conflict resolution. The first half of the day focuses on legal obligations and minimising the legal risks of conflict. The second half emphasises the importance of early intervention. This strategic and proactive approach to conflict resolution reduces the likelihood of conflict escalating, saving time, money and employee wellbeing.
