Employment law has been changing at a rapid pace in the last few years. This has made it increasingly difficult for managers and supervisors to maintain their knowledge of the legal framework applying to employment.

This course is designed to provide managers and supervisors with an overview of the current legal frameworks relevant to the day to day operations of an organisation.

  • Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003 (Qld)
  • Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995 (Qld)

At the end of the training course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the legal framework for employment.
  • Identify risks in relation to legal obligations.
  • Incorporate legal obligations and rights into planning processes.
  • Utilise this information in Risk Assessments of their organisation.
