Building a Safety Culture through Leadership
NEW COURSE
With the introduction of the new health and safety legislation on 1 January 2012, workplace audits, policy reviews and education sessions have become a major focus, but are your workers safer than they were 6 months ago?
Yes…no…unsure? Whichever your response, we do know that 80 to 90% of accidents are due to human error and as hard as we try to educate about safety, tighten the rules and bolster regulations, it doesn’t always translate to a safer workplace. Instead, the priority should be to create a culture where desired health and safety behaviours are second nature to actually reduce human error.
This course is designed to develop your safety leadership skills and competencies and effectively utilise them in your workplace to strengthen your organisation’s safety culture.
