Nathan Lindsay

Nathan plays a valuable support role within Livingstones Employment & Industrial Relations practice area. He prides himself on creative and lateral thinking and is constantly testing his problem-solving abilities.
Nathan has a passion for legal research and working closely with the most experienced in the business, with exposure to a number of different industries, each with a unique set of industrial relations challenges.
Nathan combines his informal manner with a genuine enthusiasm for workplace issues that demand problem solving and an innovative approach. He thinks carefully about issues and is recognised for his diligent and methodical work ethic and his skill in synthesising complex material into personalised and accessible advice.
Nathan undertakes interpretation of obligations under awards, legislation and case law. He undertakes detailed research and compiles submissions for unlawful dismissal and general protections matters. He drafts and reviews company policies on a range of matters including workplace health and safety and he assists in workplace audits as well as the calculation of wage sheets to ensure compliance with awards and legislation.
Nathan also drafts employment contracts and submissions to Fair Work Australia on behalf of Livingstones clients. Research into enterprise bargaining and assistance in the drafting of agreements for clients are also an important part of Nathan’s role.
