Senior Consultant

Jo combines her solid Industrial Relations background, with an open, honest and approachable nature to easily build rapport and develop long last relationships with colleagues and clients. 

She is passionate about providing practical advice and innovative solutions that are tailored for businesses. 

Jo invests the time to plan, listen and understand to ensure that she gets to the heart of an issue and propose a cost effective solution.

Her key driver is her committment to providing clients with the best possible end result. She achieves this by taking a positive and collaborative approach to her work utilising the strengths of all stakeholders.

Jo works across the broad range of Employment & Industrial Relations functions, such as policy development, making agreements, performance management and representation in formal arenas such as the Fair Work Commission.

Jo has in-depth knowledge of industrial relations and the legislative requirements that impact on the workplace. She has extensive experience in government (Department of Employment and Workplace Relations, the Workplace Authority and the Fair Work Ombudsman), within a Union (Health Services Unions (Victoria) Branch 2) and in the Not for Profit sector. She has also worked successfully as an independent consultant.

Jo provides training in all areas of industrial relations, including bullying and harassment, performance management, and fundamentals of IR. She has an informative and engaging style of delivery to ensure that participants get the most out of the sessions and are empowered to apply the learnings in their workplace.
