Jacques has worked on many significant industrial relations cases across a wide range of industries that include hospitality, information technology, petroleum, meat and food production, fast food, retail, real estate, transport, marine and manufacturing. Jacques’ particular strength is seeing and understanding the big picture while having the skill and attention to detail that leaves no stone unturned.
Through his well established network, Jacques remains abreast of international labour management relations and general employment practices. His areas of consulting expertise span negotiation of agreements, dispute resolution, mediation interventions, interpretation of legislation, acting as conciliator, advocacy in various tribunals, and advising on rights and obligations under employment legislation. Jacques is also an effective trainer in all aspects of workplace relations and accomplished in developing and implementing an extensive range of HR and IR strategies and policies on behalf of his clients.
