An Interactive, accelerated learning approach

At Livingstones we adopt highly facilitative, interactive, accelerated learning approaches to teamwork which incorporate the principles of Adult Learning.  

All our team development projects are individually designed to meet the requirements of an organisation - its culture, values and the needs of the group.

Some of the areas we focus on include:

  • Developing an understanding of individuals’ roles within their team.
  • Individuals within a team learning more about each other.
  • Understanding group dynamics and team development stages.
  • Reviewing the history of the team.
  • Understanding how the team fits with the broader organisation.
  • Creating a future vision for the team.
    Assess the current team culture and strengths & weaknesses.
  • Setting team goals, assessing performance, developing problem solving and decision making processes.
  • Developing conflict management strategies.

Methodology – bringing it all together

We work closely with management and teams to develop a strong understanding of needs, to create a clear vision of what the team wishes to achieve, and a concise set of actions and strategies for achievement of goals.

We facilitate workshops, meetings or training programs that provide structured processes for team members so that they are able to utilise these processes in order to set the scene for effective team performance in the future.

Where required, we utilise a number of assessment tools to enrich team members understanding and assist in identifying developmental plans. For example we may call on instruments such as:

  • Team Management System products.
  • Various 360 degree feedback instruments; including specifically designed tools for the client.
